Proquotely (“Proquotely,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides cloud-based construction estimating and proposal software (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you use the Service, our website, and related apps.
By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
This policy applies to account holders and authorized users, people invited into an account, and visitors to our website. Users may also enter information about their own clients and projects — see “Information we process on behalf of our users.”
Information we collect
Information you provide. Name, email, phone; company name and job title; account credentials; billing details needed for your subscription.
Client and project information you enter. Client name, job-site address, client contact details, and estimate / bid / scope details. You are responsible for having the rights to provide that information.
Information collected automatically. IP address, browser and device data, usage activity, and log/diagnostic data. We use Google Analytics for this purpose.
Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe collects payment details directly. We do not store full payment card numbers. We may keep limited records such as payment confirmation and subscription status.
How we use information
We use personal information to operate and improve the Service; create and manage estimates and proposals; process payments; provide support; send account and transactional messages; protect security and prevent abuse; and, where permitted, send Proquotely marketing (you can unsubscribe anytime). We do not send marketing to your clients.
We may also use information to comply with law and to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
How we disclose information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We disclose information to service providers who work for us (for example Stripe, Supabase, SendGrid, Mailchimp, Google Analytics), when required by law or to protect rights and safety, in connection with a business transfer, and at your direction (including collaborators you invite).
Cookies and analytics
We and our providers use cookies and similar technologies to run the Service, remember preferences, and understand usage. See our Cookie Settings page for more detail. You can control cookies in your browser; disabling some cookies may affect the Service.
Data retention
We keep personal information while your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. After closure, we keep it only as long as needed for legal, tax, accounting, dispute, and security purposes, then delete or de-identify it.
Data security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure.
California privacy rights
California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA to know/access, delete, correct, opt out of sale/sharing (we do not sell or share as defined), limit certain sensitive-data uses, and non-discrimination. Submit requests to support@proquotely.com. We will verify identity before fulfilling requests.
Where we process client data on behalf of a business user, that user generally controls that data — contact them first for client-data requests.
Information we process on behalf of our users
When you enter your clients’ information, we process it on your behalf as a service provider. If you are a client of a Proquotely user, contact that user to access, correct, or delete information they entered about you.
Children’s privacy
The Service is for business users 18+. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. Contact support@proquotely.com if you believe we have.
United States
The Service is operated from and intended for users in the United States. Access from elsewhere is at your own initiative; information is processed in the United States.
Third-party services
Third-party sites and integrations have their own policies. We are not responsible for them.
Changes
We may update this policy and will revise the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
